Research Question
How 'new' are new words in English? This project analyzes thousands of words considered 'new' in English, and discovers that they are in fact much older than one would expect. We look for patterns in the development, evolution, and usage of neologisms, and discover that 'new words' are more likely to be 'recycled words'.
